Waterproof Enough

Waterproof Enough

2016

Emily Carr University of Art + Design Graduating Exhibition

conceptual design, reflective, participant agency

A design research project culminating to a collection of artefacts that provide a platform for critical reflection on and create dialogue about water’s role in our lives. Clean water is so readily available and well controlled in the urban environment and this leads us to forget its' importance. Conventional mass produced objects were remade so that when used, the inefficiency creates a moment of pause for reflection. Objects were distributed throughout Vancouver with a label linking it back to a project website.
